To Start a short Bio on Greg Round , I have to start off with the first career move- my working life as a baker and spending many years in this industry working every hour of the day 7 days a week!A tough industry but very rewarding I loved the physical challenge and the creativity the job offered in the presentation of product and basic business skills required at the time.
After my first business (bakery) at an early age I realized that my body may not keep that level of physical labour up for ever and decided to start working smarter.
. . . working every hour 7 days a week!
Moving into Sales in the Food Industry I spent the next 10 years moving up the "corporate ladder" and gaining good sales experience and high business standards which have stayed with me ever since.
After this good sales grounding I moved into a Sales Management role with a medium sized Import and Distribution Company and then on to General Manager which honed new business skills and required many Product buying trips to Trade Fairs around the world and regular trips through USA , Europe and Asia.
Traveling around the world would seem like a great job and it was but once my 2 girls arrived in my life a new direction was deemed necessary- they are only young once and grow up so fast , being home more was a good move for my kids alone.
Being in NZ more also enabled me to spend a little more time on the beautiful Auckland harbour yacht racing - the Waitimata is one thing we Aucklanders should be very thankful for!
In keeping with my interest in design creativity and IT, I purchased a Go Kiwi Internet Agency and am currently helping SOHOs and SMEs with their website needs.
Having the business background enables me to use the many skills required to manage a company to design and create a solid easy to use website for my clients. I understand how much demand on time there is for business operators and will take as much stress away from the web development process as possible.
Having a passion and drive for what ever I do, makes "daring to achieve"
that much easier
