Get More Visitors to your site and for longer
So now you have "analytics" on your web-site , you can see how many visitors you have had and how long they are spending on each page , so.......
...How do you increase the numbers of visitors to your website AND, get them to stay longer WHILE motivating them to take action???
Remember it takes on average 7 visits (from the same visitor) to a site (or product) before "they" take action to buy, thus, it is important to keep them interested.
Here are a few tips that should assist in these areas -
After you have invested in a new site and "optimized" it for the search engines that is.....
Get F.U.M ....
Fresh Content Offer fresh content on a regular basis- "F.U.M" (Fresh , Unique, Meaningful) content. Make sure this is original content (not copy and pasted).
F.U.M attracts Search Engine searches like "Flies to a Sunday Roast"
You can either update regular items like news and events in the industry or add "Articles of interest" to your customer base. Articles or blogs are probably not the fastest start to gaining more visitors but over time search engines will rank the site higher and higher as people learn about the fresh content but you must commit to regular additions every 1-2 weeks.
Give away Free stuff - a DVD course , e-book , software or product. With the ultimate goal of getting their name and e-mail address via registration or subscription to build a data base, give away free stuff - everyone like's free stuff. Offer Free Trials or samples to give them a taste of the real thing! Or even a watered down base version of your end product for free, or a trial period, or a small payment.
Let Them earn -Offer an affiliate program so that people who like your product can earn by assisting you to sell more or build loyalty with new customers by earning commissions as they introduce sales of clients
Database Reminders -to get customers to visit your site more than once may mean looking after the customers you already have on your database of previous purchasers. Simply send an e-mail reminding them of the site and your product. It may be simply all it takes to re-instate previous customers. You may be surprised how many respond to a little nudge reminder.

The most successful tip that I could give you however is to simply "optimize" your site on every page and place FUM "Fresh , Unique and Meaningful" information to attract search engines.
However if you read all this information and do nothing - "then expect nothing to change" And if that is your objective, then well done you will succeed!
IF YOU DO NOTHING YOU WILL ALWAYS GET 100% RETURN... 100% OF NOTHING!
